Following his doctorate in 2014, Dr.

Ionus accumulated over 6 years of experience in vascular, orthopedic, and general acute and emergency surgery at hospitals across Germany.

He then expanded his expertise over 2 years in the Department of Internal and Integrative Medicine at the Charité.
