Junghans studied at the Free University of Berlin and received her medical license there.

She completed her specialist training in surgery in Berlin.

Since 2006, she has gained experience in general medicine through the private emergency service and the statutory medical service (KV).

Her areas of focus are pain therapy, orthopedics/surgery, and general medicine.

She also applies naturopathic methods.

Currently, she works as a medical assessor and takes shifts in the private emergency service.
