Ilka Stawitzke-Baumann

After completing my medical studies at the Charité Berlin, I was able to gain broad experience in both clinical and outpatient settings during my specialist training in general medicine.

My work encompassed internal medicine including cardiology, pulmonology, diabetology, palliative medicine, and surgery.

In general practices, I also worked in endocrinology and laboratory medicine.

I passed my specialist examination in 2011 and have since worked as a general practitioner — in outpatient care in Berlin, including in a leadership role at a family medicine medical care center in Berlin Zehlendorf, and later as a locum physician at various hospitals across Germany.

Alongside this, I began early on participating in the mobile house call service of the Berlin Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.

It brings me great joy to treat and help people medically in their own homes.
